I started Handsome because I was frustrated buying expensive large glass bottles of perfume i'd always forget to use. They would sit there gathering dust and go out-of-date (Perfumes have a 28-36 month life span). I'd go into a perfume shop and want multiple different scents and not just one scent for €70-€200. I saw the gap in the market of retailers not wanting to sell smaller sample sizes and started Handsome in March 2020 during the first Covid Lockdown from my apartment in Galway! Here we are now with 50,000+ happy customers. Ps. We’re just getting started.

French kiss is definitely signature scent worthy! It gives me high tea and cakes sophistication. Extreme class in a bottle. It's elegant, sophisticated, refined and one of a kind. You can recognise its smell from a thousand other perfumes.

Are they long lasting?
Yes, absolutely!
Our fragrances are crafted at an eau de parfum strength with a perfume oil concentration of around 20–25%, which means they really cling to the skin and fabric.
Depending on the scent, some are lighter and others richer, but all of them typically last between 8 and 16 hours on the skin.
Are your ingredients safe?
Yes! All of our fragrances are made using perfume oils and alcohol denat., which are the same safe ingredients used across the fragrance industry. Unless you have a specific sensitivity or contraindication to these components, there should be no issue wearing them.
Are your products vegan?
Yes! All of our fragrance oils are 100% free from animal-derived ingredients, and we never carry out any animal testing at any stage of production.
Our products are both vegan and cruelty-free.
What are the available sizes?
We offer our fragrances in 8ml travel sprays, 30ml bottles, and 100ml bottles.
For a limited time, two of our bestsellers — Midnight Oud and Espresso Vanilla — are also available in 50ml.
Are they refillable?
Yes! Our 8ml, 30ml, and 100ml bottles are all refillable.
You can refill them either by sending your empty vials back to us through our online service, or by visiting our store at 21 Stephen Street Lower, Dublin 2.
Please note that the limited-edition 50ml bottles are not refillable.
Do you do scents for all ages?
Great question! Yes! Our collection is designed to suit all ages and styles.
Whether you prefer something fresh and light for everyday wear, or something deeper and more sophisticated for special occasions, we have scents that fit every taste.
That said, since our formulations contain alcohol, we recommend keeping them out of reach of babies and very young children.
Where are your products made?
Our perfume oils are sourced from Grasse, France, the world’s perfume capital.
They are then carefully blended and matured in our lab, before being hand-bottled in Dublin, Ireland.
Why is it so affordable?
We keep our prices fair by cutting out the middlemen.
Big designer brands usually go through multiple steps before their perfumes reach you — distributors, sales agents, heavy marketing, transport, and retail markups all add to the final price.
With Handsome Scent, we select our own oils, produce and bottle everything by hand, and handle our own delivery. This keeps costs lean without compromising on quality. And since we focus on smaller, more practical bottles, there’s no reason they shouldn’t be truly affordable.
Where do you ship to?
We ship next-day within Ireland and Northern Ireland, and within 48 hours to the UK and the USA. We also deliver across Europe and to California, so no matter where you are, you can enjoy Handsome Scent.
If I don´t like my scents, can I return?
Yes, if you purchased online and didn’t get a chance to test the fragrances beforehand, we do accept returns.
